Our Mission: To provide families with the tools to build a strong educational base coupled with resources for their empowerment.
Located at the Dr. B.L. Perry Jr. Branch of the LeRoy Collins Leon County Public Library, Literacy Volunteers of Leon County provides learning activities for the entire family. These activities include "one to one" tutoring in English, reading and math. Basic computer instruction, job skills enhancement and GED exam preparation are also provided.
The Family Literacy Center is funded through a Library Services and Technology Act Grant of the Florida Department of State Library and Information Services.
